@twolittleducks, yes, my phones are always non branded versions
@Vexii, I guess time will tell about the restarts for performance though I rarely get them anyway. I haven't got my bluetooth headset with me so can't test that either

I just updated using SEUS and I got:
Phone: CXC162037 R9A002
Bluetooth: CXC162058 R3A01
Organizer: CXC162071 R4C01
CDA: 162011/2 R4C01
This was after updating on 02/01/07. The update I got was 'World Generic 2'.
Hoping this helps someone, as I think this is the latest update.

Phone is a lot lot faster, caller name in bluetoth headset very loud (hat to turn it down) pixelrating the contact photo still there & you still have to put in all the voice tabs again when you back up and restore. SE are getting there but by the time the firmwares 100% the phone will be obslete

Don't bother.....
I've tried, and even though I have the R3B01 organizer FW, SEUS still says: "You already have the newest software..."
-Guess I'll have to fork out the dough to get my phone unbranded....

Branding is stupid imho. I understand if they want to keep you from calling through competitors, but why the heck do they need to restrict you from using the latest (and probably most bug-free) firmware?
