I'd expect the successors to the P990 and W950 to both have 3.2MP cameras. The P990 already has wifi, so it wouldn't be a huge leap to expect it on the W950 successor (along with a better keypad).

There are people who want the best of both worlds and redy to pay for it.Enough of segmentation.
Now that they are launching more phone in every segment,they sould spend more money on advertismentsand sponcerships too...great product with 0 ads = 0 sales.

the lower end to mid range se is doing fine.
for higher end - the new k series flagship should update to a full fledge walkman 1.0 software instead of a crippled one like the current k800. size should go back smaller like k750 and make the cam cover flush like cybershot camera t30. camea should up to 5mp with min 3x optical zoom - to cut a long story short - just merge the k800+t30+w800 into the new k850
for m series - include min 2mpx cam with auto focus
for p series - put back the large screen, best cam, best music player and move the keyboard under the phone ala slide out. this will be the showcase for se convergence
lastly SE must maintain current number of models line up and streamline it:
k series - 3xx, 5xx, 6xx, 8xx
w series - 3xx, 5xx, 6xx, (drop the 7xx), 8xx
m series - 5xx (add new budget model), 6xx
p series - 8xx (add new budget model), 9xx
don't fall into nokia trap where new models are released all over the place until the customers don't even know what's new, what's old, which is higher specs etc
oh the joystick - keep it but make it reliable and the feel should be like the w800

Its all good having the latest features but without the firmware being any good is it worth it?
Symbian OS9 is out now on the latest range of phones from SE but do you really think it is the next big thing?

almost everything is ok. we need larger screens, good joysticks and dpads, more than 2mp cameras, vanish all media players from all new models, 3g, edge, wifi, lock files/functions feature. i have no more to say so far.

i got a small feeling 2007 could be the year mobile phone sales start to slow down for SE. i hope i'm worng.
those extra models are nice, but can SE keep up with the branding that nokia and samsung are doing. and how stong is the razr design.
SE needs to promote it self for like a hole year arround the world, if they do that they could become as famous a donut
