I duno with the projector here its good at night but in the day you need to close the curtains to see it and its a pain even though its a very bright one.

Regards size we have a 110" projector and I don't think thats too big when sitting about 3-4 meters away so id say a 42 inch is about right (the 30 screen is a bit small tbh)

The new HD LCD projectors are amazing with the right screen and if you pump it with blueray or hd-dvd you will be in heavan.

Far from it. take a look at the bravia tv it costs £1200 approx. The New Benq MP 720P Projector costs £700 and like you said add a screen at around £200 you only at £900 in total. But your screen size for that amount of money has balooned to 100inches compared to the 32 inches of £1200.

But each to there own

the bigger the better.... but for a room... it depends... Minimum is 32" but if you can buy a 40" why not get it...
