this is good news, the whole issue with having to wait till the call was answered, then go into the menu, select speaker... was really starting to grate on me.
i am assuming that it will also get rid of the dammed vodafone startup screen?
one more thing, i dropped mine last week, and am sending it off via insurance to get screen replaced. if i flash it, is there a chance that the insurance will be affected? im hoping not, as it is via official SEUS but if anyone can answer i would be grateful.

Vodafone startup gone after flashing? I don't think so coz this is under Vodafone's customized flash.
Regarding the insurance, I believe it'll not affected coz you are only flashing the firmware and none on your hardware.

as i was getting out of my car it fell out of my pocket (its a mobile phone pocket just above knee height). apparantely through vodafone it costs £40 to replace the screen, but i still got whacked £25 for insurance excess!!.
there was a massive crack from top to bottom, and a few smaller ones. all the black liquid started leaking out, and wasnt too bad. but now i cant read half the screen!

Picked my W950i up in the Philippines, the details for it are:
Phone: CXC 162037 R9C001
Bluetooth: CXC 162058 R3A01
Organiser: CXC 162088 R1B01
CDA: CDA 162014/2 R1B01
I would have expected my handset to pick up the update, but it doesn't. I tried it a s recently as last night, but no success. ANy ideas?

No changes in Equalizer... still being preset by a set of selections.
I'm not sure on what do you mean by animated wallpaper.. if you want a GIF to be set as wallpaper.. is already there since day 1.
Btw, this is my phone software information:
I believe this firmware is still not ie Se Update Services yet coz I tried just now. Check with your nearest SE Authorized Dealer. I updated mine from there.
