my phone has restarted twice after the new upgrade. no i did not know about doing a master reset before or after the upgrade. can one do a master reset AFTER the upgrade?
Each time my phone reset was when received a cal.. It is rather irritating.
BTW I upgraded my phone the ont 4th of Jan. I had the origianl mem stick inside (64K). 3 days later (Tuesday) I upgraded to a 1GB mem stick (I tried 2 different Mem sticks - San Disk and Sony) and these reset happened after the 1GB stick was installed.
Could it be the mem. sticks? Is there a limit to the size of Mem stick one can use with the 990? Does the 990 become unstable with large memory sticks?

The limit right now is 4 gig i think. So i dont belive its your memory stick

the limit is 8gb and you can find it in the manual....
maximum currently availeable is 4gb though....
i have no problems at all using my sony 4gs duo

I've used this 1GB SanDisk on the P910 & now on P990. Not a single problem & after the format & the update, the phone got much better & firmware more stable.
