Okay... Thinking...

even if you could get some kind of accessory, which held the movie data (maybe including the audio-stream and a sound-output) there are 3 things to why it aint gonna happen:

1) Price. The price would be quite high - and who would pay more than a regular smal handheld colour tv?`
2) 256 colours. If you own a MCA-20 you would have noticed the extreeme difference between viewing the picture on the t68i or on a device with 65000+ colours. The quality would be awful.
3) The hardware. The phone's CPU would never be able to handle the storage-ram-cpu switching in an acceptable pace to name just one.

in case some people failed to notice I said they should start of small, cartoons maybe.

all they would have to do is make them as 4 - 6 min screensavers.

Now I know that's possible.

in fact Anyone who can make screensavers can do it.

Why would you want to watch a movie on tiny screen?!?!?!

I'm just saying, that for what it would probaly cost to upgrade a T68 to the point where you could play a movie, you would have enough money to buy a portable DVD-player with widescreen!!!

Who ever set up this post should get their head examined. What ever made you think that it would be worth while watching short mother on a phone with a two inch screen and 256 colours? NEXT! This post was posted from a T68i

Movies, java, polyphonic ringtones....

Let's be realistic. Even if all these can be done by a software and hardware upgrade, do you think se will do it? They'll go out of business if they don't produce more phones to sell instead of upgrading all the existing users' phone. This was never promised in the first place so you can't expect them to do it. That's business. You don't buy a Vespa, ask the workshop to add 4 wheels and a turbo charged engine and expect to have a Porsche do you?
