All it took was a SIM update which came within minutes of the request.
GPRS coverage is just the same as my network coverage, wirefree, if I don't have network coverage then I can't use GPRS, but it's totally different to ADSL.
ADSL depends on the correct cabling infrastructure being there in the first place and even if it is, there has to be sufficient interest in the service before the local exchange switches it on, which is why some more remote parts of the country can't get it, whereas a fairly built up area with plenty of businesses wanting to use ADSL will have the service, no problem.

Was the SIM update just software based, it didn't needed to be altered or anything?
If it is software based was updating it just like installing the settings sent from the SE website?

a sim update is a text which tells ur sim what services it has - you just erase it then switch ur handset off and on. the new service then takes effect. ie gprs, mms whatever

YOU need to check with your service provider to see if your phone is set up to recieve and send mms thru your Email system! if not your service provider can walk you thru how to set your phone up to send and recieve mms!
