@palex - those clips holding the lens cover on require quite a bit of
pressure to get them to engage - undo the cross head screws, lift it up
a little and start pressing from the on/off button end ... the non flash
side is much easier to get seated than the flash side. Don't try to get all
the clips to engage at once, starting at the top work your way along the
side then do th non-flash side. That's how i got mine to seat right

hope that helps out

nope, theres just one clip that just doesnt want to sit in, it's the silver one in the middle right under the flash and it seems to become more visible when i put the screw back in.

do you think it could be because thats where i slid the credit card under(e.g like bent/ worn the plastic)? and will it do any long term damage to the phone if i leave it as it is?

it sounds like you have bent the clip - try removing the back and
heating the clip so you can realign it .... another alternative would
be a new back from cnn.cn, but silver one's are like rocking horse pooh

what u mean by this bit, also the clips do all seem inline, what i think has happened is i've worn away the edge of the back cover which makes the clip visible through it but im not sure, what you say does sound logical as the clip doesnt seem to slick into place

finally, i have found out what is wrong, i tried my dads back cover on mine which still left the gap, i tried my back cover o my dads k800 which left a really small gap, so i guess i need a whole new housing, will this solve the problem or could i take the whole housing off and bend that?
