You're right the networks wouldn't debrand, only unlock.
seunlock do do a combined unlock/debrand which i think is pretty good value. I'm staying with Orange so no need to worry about an unlock.

One good thing about getting someone else other than the network to unlock your phone is that you don't need to sit on hold for an hour just to request it!

First off,

Orange Charge £20 plus VAT, it takes approx 2 hours to get through and at least 10-14 days (AT BEST) to get the phone unlocked.

Now, NO and I mean NO service provider will debrand phones, why the hell would they put it on in the first place if they were gonna let you take it off.

We offer a service which, in the main takes 3 days, and will remove any and all branding and update the phone to the newest possible firmware, change the CDA so YOU can upgrade the FW on SEUS YOURSELF to the newest firware when it comes out.

If you don't feel it's value for money, then you are more than entitled to your opinion, however personally having to wait minimum 3 months sometimes 6 months after contract start/upgrade, to apply for an unlock code, then taking over 2 hours on the phone, then taking over 2 weeks to get the code, and still having the crap service provider software, isn't what I call service, or value for money.

Lest us not forget the fact that the service providers become a whole lot more anal about any insurance claims after you have asked them for an unlock code, because they automatically assume you have sold it. Whereas they don't know the phone is unlocked if you get it done through a third party.

Well. Handset arrived back today, exactly as they said it would. It was very well packaged for it's trip home.

Great job. The phone is debranded and reflashed. I'm very pleased with the service.

I'd happily recommend these guys to anyone. Thanks!

Seriously, glad that you are happy with the work, and long may you enjoy the lack of crappy branded software.

Check out how good the video playback is now....

I rather have someone independent unlock it. It is like asking the lock smith unlocking you house, when they in the first place locked it. Plus you want the unbiased approach.
