Actually some joysticks are just faulty, most work fine, all my joystick phones are OLD and the joysticks still work.
So......

Majority work fine, some are badly put together and or have a manufacturing fault.

But i feel that SE dinn realise that and when they did, they started degrading the sound performance from the later non-walkman branded models. None had MEGABASS after the k750. Also playing music through the k610 and k800(for eg.) loudspeakers sounded sooo treblish!!
Thats what i figured out.
But k750 sounding better than the WALKMANS---Mith
K750 at par with walkman-TRUTH!

Its better than the ones I mentioned!
Its really bad anyone can tell the difference instantly, unless my K750 is some super special edition.

Okay let's get the first thing absolutely straight - there is no difference in the hardware of W800 and K750. That most certainly is a myth. Therefore any differences must be in the software. Now I have installed various version of firmware for both W800 and K750 BACK to BACK on my K750's and the only difference in sound quality comes down to the drivers in the file system. Infact mongoose and aksd did a lot of work on sound drivers. In my view mongoose's are the best, and make any w800 or k750 sound better than any off the shelf K750 or W800.
So as far as I'm concerned it's an UTTER MYTH that either W800 and K750 hardware or firmware is better than the other. Some firmware versions of K750 are better than some firmware versions of W800 and vice versa. And that aint no myth.

I wasn't replying to you 786KBR buddy, I was supporting what Chili said, and disagreeing with what marktang said
btw, I have read that W810 can be fixed with the same audio drivers W800 use (or even mongooses driver), though I haven't a W810 to test with myself.

Another myth. The quality of the sensor determines noise level and color fidelity. The lens quality contributes to sharpness and image distortion level. Software affects pic quality too, but it can only be as good as the hardware will allow.
This would explain why an S700 (1mp) picture will always look better than a K610 (2mp) picture.
Rather, the more megapixel, the bigger the printout (or display on pc monitor) without "stretching" the image.

so true, and a general digital camera myth as well!
Here's a myth; that high end SE's like K800, W850 etc are smartphones. This is because of their excellent multimedia ability, many consumers perceive them as smartphones!
