Thanks for the advice guys, I think I found the last black M600i in London! I went to every single shop that sells phones on Tottenham Court Road and found two shops that had the white one, then I walked the length of Oxford Street, down to Edgware Road, where I finally managed to find a black one in a shop called DGTAL... I'm pretty happy with it!
One question though, the manual seems to be really poor quality, the cover is nice and glossy, but the pages are shoddy printing on cheap paper... is this normal? My P910i has a much better manual. The box says "DPY 101 152/150 R5A IT,DE,FR" if that affects the manual...
