I've just checked whether the issue is present after the update. Like you said, the "ask to save" option does not work. However, a strange glitch has been corrected in the new firmware. The phone now registers multiple missed calls from the same caller, which was not the case before. So now we get the name of the caller and the number of missed calls in brackets next to the name.

Obviously, firmwares do not bring improvements only. I guess, you get some, you lose some

you could use kulankendi to manually change your CDA or debrand by wotanserver which will automatically change it
