Sweet jesus!
This puppy has got EVERYTHING, and the memory to use it. Same processor as the N95 > but not the video chip that the N93's have.
Now, it the height, and thickness is comparable to the P990i you'll see quite a few ppl purchasing this instead of the HTC Athena.

Hi Prom1,
Are you sure the E90 doesn't have the same 3D chip as the the N93,N95 as it is all on the one chip and my understanding is it does have exactly the same configuration just a lot more installed and usable Ram apparently 128mb installed and 80mb free for the user. Which will mean true Multitasking with no risk of apps shutting down either with out a doubt the ultimate business phone so far and the one all the other manufacturers are going to have to try and match never mind beat. I also think the move to S60 makes perfect sense as there are so many 3rd party apps already available for this platform and it is now incredibly stable and fast.
@Fatreg you seem to have got over the loss of S80 and the move to S60 is this correct?

if i can get all them specs in an S60 platform im there.
S60 always was a little bit easier to use, as if its now widescreen..
what more could i want?
oh and a commi that vibrates!

And you can't compare this UGLY E90 to STYLISH P990i! I wonder who's gonna put almost twice money for this? Keypad does not look comfortable. Let's see for how long the battery gonna last...

Yes I'm pretty sure as all preview production line beta's that have been review - my-symbian.com clearly states no video chip within. Its the cpu thats doing most of the video work. However I hope that they are, & I am, wrong by the foot!

Platform chipsets can ALWAYS be the same but video chipsets are a seperate attachment that is soldered on-board during production run.

Here is someone that just clearly hates without a reason or rhyme! This thing has an incredible battery. Using the internal screen for the majority of the time along with video calling I'm sure will quickly reduce your 6hr claimed talk time. Lately Nokia's talk time has been very accurate throughout their phones regardless of horrible battery power. Furthermore the styling is very business like and looks well enough to sit with my stereo equipment. This has much more applications & power of usability that the P990 although sexy cannot compare.
Lastly the P990 costs this much during its first 3 months of availability but it was a BETA > 4 firmwares before stabilization .... uh uh not for me. I'll be in tow the 2nd month the E90 gets released - hoping in Dark Black this baby is out. Then I'll post some applications on it ... even some S60 games on the flip closed mode.
Anyone ready for fun & games on this?
Fatreg .... get BlackBerry Connect for this puppy and I'm sure editing documents will be a breeze on the E90 ... although I'm liking the 8800 > don't buy it! Wait until Tmobile USA launches the 8820 with GPS & WiFi
