If you have 2 CDA strngs then the FW flash and CDA change is not being completed properly and this can lead to future problems. It should be completed by the client to change the string you have, and not have a second set of FW.

There should be an option in the client to solve this issue?

Strange - I did have 2 cda lines after changing them. But since a master reset and the upgrade I have only one cda. Sounds like something went wrong with you cda change or upgrade.

Yes i did have 2 cda lines. At first the first line shows my old cda (cds/5) and the second line shows the new one (cda/1). Fortunately seus detects the new cda. And after updating with SEUS it still has two cda lines. But this time both lines shows cda/1. Here's my screen capture after SEUS update.

When using the client, do you have to tick "finalisation" or is it just the CDA Change box that needs ticked?

Cheers

Just the checked CDA change box worked for me - no need for finalisation.

Thanks,

Just waiting for my username and password. I take it that the server login just gets emailed .... how long does it take?

This is fantastic for getting rid of the branded FW!

How many credits do you need to change the CDA?

edit: read it's one.

So do I just download the software. buy a credit and then what?

hi guys,

first of all, sorry for the late reply as i'm in the gmt+8 timezone.

@adara,
just tick the cda change and at the cda box i typed in the world generic 1 cda as found here: http://uiq3.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/CDA/P990i

after paying them, i think you'll need to email them your transaction number for the login details. for the email address, you'll need to find them at the gsmhosting forum. here's the link:
http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=370829

@kradcliffe,
no need to finalise.

@dominique,
thank you for the info. will format & master reset my phone later when i get home and will flash through seus again. will update you guys later.

@guy h,
it only cost me 1 credit = 6 euros

but just for the record, eventhough i have 2 cda lines, so far i have no problems with the newly flashed firmware. but i think it's still too soon to tell anyways.

br.

what i did was, buy the credit. then an email will be sent to you with the transaction number. then you'll need to email the transaction number to gsminfo. you can find the email address at the link in my previous post.
after that gsminfo will email you the logon details. cheers.

Hi guys. Can anyone help. I can't seem to get this to work.

I load up the program and click on the read info button. I have an access violation and it tells me to hold the c button and plug in the usb cable.

I hold down c and plug in the USB cable but nothing happens!

I haven't installed any of the drivers or anything, I was expecting a dialog to appear asking me to point towards them.

I'm on Win 2000 and I can connect to the SE pc suite and SEUS - and both work great.

Thanks, Boomah.
