Untill every single phone for 07 is revealed how can anyone be frustrated? So you want an announcement so the forums light up with discussion, in the end what really matters is what you're actually going to buy and when. The W880 and K550 are already out so you shouldn't expect big waits for other phones so what's the rush?

The other brands have already show us new stuff with improved features... SE should do the same thing at least till the end of this mounth. I ll be disapointed if they only anounce phones in setember or so to compete with these new from nokia etc. And dont expect that if SE announce a P990/W950 sucessor they came out so soon like w880...

SE models likeT610, K700, K750 were way ahead of their times. this was because SE had spent years on research. creating a new feature everyday is not easy. it requires time and money both. let them expand their market to get the return, they had put on it years back. in coming months their plan would be marketing oriented, to earn the fuel for R&D. just my thoughts.

W880 and W888 should have already - 3.2 MP cameras on it !

if u looke back SE did the same thing with the w800. it came out with the w810. that's what SE do before they roll out a successor

But at least w810i was not a downgrade of features. I had one and a w800 before. All i can say is that they made the w800 perfect... much better looks, much better screen, flash menus, nice dpad and got all the other excelent features of the w800. The only downgrade here is the lens cover that w800 had and w810 not. I dont bother if SE just make little upgrades or just change the looks of their phones... if they do like w800 to w810 its good to me. What i dont like is the fact that they are taking of very good features like auto focus, leds and radio on their phones and do just a good cosmetic change.

what are u waiting for? the hardware is ok, cos its ericsson, but what could sony offer? u got the cam, walkman and some other fun crap. dont wait further knowledge of sony site, cos they dont have any. come on ppl, honestly, would u took a sony fone 10 years ago? se is copying nokia with this pre releasing story, but nokia can allowe it itself with its marketshare, se not. maybe u get some more mp to your se cams and some more fun features, but thats it for se future models.

Just like in the K-series . . . . the JUMP from the K700 (VGA) to the K750 (2MP) is very much impressive . . . but from the K750 (2MP) to the K800 (3.2MP) . . .
Sometimes I still find the images taken from the K750 MUCH - sharper than those taken from the - K800
!
