I just tried it, but it is still the same on the phone. Only four icons that can't be edited...

Don't get your hope up too much. I think this is just a bug, like the previous version of Theme Creator showed very much stuff the wrong way, and even made errors in the theme file. (I.E. added stuff that is never used and ignored other things.) Notice how the FC status bar in the previews has the menu arrow to the left and the task manager icon to the right, which it doesn't have on the phone, (where they wouldn't work since there's no touch screen in FC).
Don't get me wrong here, I'd also like that kind of standby screen, but I don't think it will happen. Firmware upgrades almost never change stuff like this.

Looking at the homescreen in the latest themes creator, i personally think that this will be included in the next update as appose to it being an error as the screen has more in connection with the p990 than the m600.
So hopefully we will get the new homescreen in the next update and hopefully the option of the today menu also!

ITs not working.. same thing 4 icons and still you can't change them.. maybe they only copy the sample pic from a w950i or m600i to make their work easier than making another pic that has only 4 icons..
