I'd still say size. The fact that you don't need a backpack to carry it with you must be it. They used to be the size of a car battery, and weighed as much as well. Some of you might not even remember them. Portable not transportable is the answer!

It has to be size. i would not use sms,wap,colour screen or gprs if they were still as big as by British Telecom phone years back! So sms, gprs etc in themselves can be classed as a revolution in my view.
