Well yeah, don't forget that it is also used for: cycling thru various vision modes, active camoflague control, mothership comms....
....oh, and you can retrieve a stuck discus(i.e: stuck in a wall, etc..) with it! So not just a nuclear weapon......

Actually 3 were made for the movie and one of them is for sale here on
ebay for under £40,000
