ok lets see ...i updated mine yesterday and im quite impressed by this new firmware ...its quite snappy and doesnt hang around and multitasking seems to be a lot more comfortable ..ive also noticed the mediaplayer doesnt take too long thinking ,streaming over the wifi internet with realplayer seems better supported and the intergrated opera and opera mini seem to complement each other without getting into trouble ...so far it hasnt crashed ill see how far i can stress it b4 it freezes

Did you guys have to reformat the internal memory before updating the firmware?

Updated fine. I set the phone back to default factory settings before flashing. That took ages to flash btw. I was a bit worried that it may have crashed.
All went fine in the end
Phone is much faster, free memory always around 19%-20% when not in use.
I like the USB/Phone selection when it's inserted into the cradle. That eliminate the need to remove the memory stick to access non system folders from now on.
Good job.

hello guys ... it is my first post here ... so .. cheers!

I have a problem with my vodafone branded P990i ... I have CDA 162008/63 R3A02 (Romanian language pack) and the software version CXC 162037 R7A001.

I'vee seen from your posts that the new version of software is available but when I try to update my phone ... SEUS say that I have the final verion.
How is this possible ?
It can depend on the region that I choose when prompted by SEUS (Romania)? It is possible for my country not to be developed the new software yet?

Can I select another country, make the update ... and then apply my country language pack ?

Thank you for your help and counting on a prompt reply because I'm very angry

Cheers !!
