is that they dont need 30 phones to be in the market
the t68i is still one of the best spec'd phones on the market and competes with phones in a few price sectors 7210 to 7650 and up
the t300 competes with about 6-7 nokia phones
the p800 has no real competiors yet if you go by spec (maybe 3650 just about)
arent big enough to release 30 phones a month but its products are so good, which means
only need 6 main products to compete with nokias 30 odd range
new phones are due soon maybe not until cebit next year but that isnt too far away.

And how the hell is Nokia 7250 a better phone? They are not even in the same category. 7250 is a 7210 with a built in camera, whooopi-bleedin-dooo. ur a bit cocky aren't you. 7250 is a class phone even if it doesn't do everything an SE can do because it is one of the boldest designs ever and looks really 'fahionable' if you will. look at the p800 looks good? think not. Yeh they are different leagues but im just making a point about the designs. Nokia will always outsell Sony Ericsson for the time being whether the phone is good or not. Why? Because of the brand that has been built over time, a loyal fan base and the massive range of their product line catering for literally everyone

's startegy as yeh taking market share but not by trying 2 replace or blow away nokia, by creating its own stable market to dominate

As someone previously mentioned, the p800 will not be a mass market phone. - majority of people wanting a small pocket phone packed with features. It would be interesting to know from a profit point of view if a basic phone sold in great numbers at a fairly low cost actually makes more profit than a high spec phone sold in much fewer numbers at a high price?
My guess is that
would rely on more basic spec phones sold in big numbers for survival.

Hard to believe?? All the people whom I've shown 7650 have absolutely fallen in love with it after they've used it a while... Easy to use and navigate - big colorful screen etc. The UI is really good, really it is

P800 is not a mass market phone, touchscreens wont get "Joe Sixpack" to buy it. Two handed usage is a big no-no on non-techy market segment... It will most likely sell well on normal PDA user segment but that is much much smaller than the "Joe Sixpack" market. Just look at the PDA shipment figures from last quartal...
