Hi to all Kabayans,
I'm Robert currently working here in Singapore as programmer. I bought my T68 here in Singapore, medyo mas mahal dahil hindi pa siya nala-launch dito nuong nabili ko. I was actually waiting for N8310 since July 2001, atat na atat na ako dahil more than 1 year na yung N6150 at parang outdated na ba. So talagang Nokia na ako no na once na may nakita ako bibili na ako kahit pa magkano, then fortunately at the MRT may mamang may dalang cell so I was looking at it and saw this bliking green light at the side, there was no antena pero parang Ericsson, there was a earphone attached at attachment at the bottom of the phone. Then I saw the logo, I was surprised to know that it was indeed an Ericsson phone, my second phone by the way is Ericsson A1081s na nainlove ako ng una kong makita. S$1000 ang kuha na kahit alam kong bababa din ang presyo after mga 1 month wala na akong pakialam(now it sells around S$750 to S$850 at di pa ding nagbabago ang presyo mula ng launching pa fifty lang ang ibinaba) all I know was my dream of owning a T68 came true, he he he babaw ko 'no. Mabuhay tayong lahat!
Ericsson T65/T39/T68 users...
Meron pang isa yung T66 and R600.

A graduate of Metallurgical Engineering, I am currently working for a metalworking company overseeing technical operations here and abroad.

To Phlong and Roberto:
You are right, you can say that the Philippines is a Nokia country. To most celfone users here, if your celfone is not Nokia, then you don't have a celfone. So if you knew or saw somebody here with a T68 or T39 (or other high tech phone that is not Nokia), chances are that person is a tech elite. We don't go for popularity, we adhere to innovation, technology and quality.

Wow! Tech Elite. Never tought of that.

I guess Nokia has a very aggressive and successful marketing drive in the country. Nokia phones are really excellent in SMS especially with the ol' 3210. Nice grip on the phone and the key pads feel just right.

duh?!

I was referring to that guy (you all know who he is) who was insisting that only English be used here.

Our discussions about GPRS is a non-issue. It should be expected in any public board.

mabuhay!

Harcore techies would probably think that way, but the phone companies would rather have popularity 'coz the bottom line is selling the most number of phones. =)

(Okay, I admit I'm a techie!)

I have a question: I'm still using R1B and I would like to ask if its preferrable that I upgrade now or wait til March for the MMS upgrade? If I should upgrade now, where can I get one and what do I have to do/bring? Thanks guys!

To lilalf,
It is much better to upgrade your unit to R2A or R2B version. R2A version will improve the speed of your GPRS and make the color of the games more crispier especially the "GAME". Unfortunately MMS sw are not yet included to R2B version. ;-(
You can go to Semicon to make an upgrade to your unit. R2B will be available on the last week of February according to the Sony Ericsson Representative I talked last day. tnxs.

Hello racoonice, I just want to know where did you buy your communicam? I think all of filipino t68 users here in Philippines don't have a Communicam yet. How much is it?

Sorry I can't help you for this moment regarding your problem. Tnxs.
