@BobaFett: not all the time i'm looking at my k750's screen, hence the flash light keeps me aware if there's a missed call or not.

okay tranced, this is weird. if you're not looking all the time at your phone to see if you have a missed call, how are supposed to see the flash light? doesn't the light light up every couple of seconds??
are you starring at the phone for a few seconds to see if you have a missed call/sms?

you know the flash light is strong enough to see it. i place my phone with the backside up so i'm able to see it everytime it blinks.

I believe the Nokia 6300 has such the blinking light reminder too. Should prove to be pretty useful. @tranced, I know what you mean, the blinking light catches your attention more easily, even if the phone's only visible at the corner of your eye. It sure beats having to look closely at the screen for the missed call and sms indicator.
