Just upgraded from .16 to .18. Read the readme first though. TDK's basic message is don't upgrade unless you've got problems. In fact, the dire warnings are a bit OTT: it's no different to installing the card over from scratch, which is trickier than a simple software upgrade, but no big deal really.
Best (possibly only?) improvement: you can now transfer pictures from the phone to the pc by BT. Pretty handy if you've got an MCA20. Previously, this was a no-go (you could send files in the opposite direction using the Christerson (?sp) Sendfile program).
It also has the voice gateway, and I could pair my laptop to my headset (jabra freespeak). However, the headset has no detectable services, so there wasn't much more I could get the pair to do.

.18 driver is straight forward to find:
http://www.tdksystems.com/support/drivers/range.asp?id=1
and the headset profile support instruction is here:

I have successfully integrated TDK's .18 drivers with Billiontons USB dongle without the requirement of a serial key. Everything (that i can test) works fine, and it appears to have support for HSP, but am unable to confirm as I have no idea how to get my HBH-10 to do anything apart from pair with my PC. Perhaps someone can help?
If anyone would like a copy of the drivers, PM me with your email address.
Tim.

Cutting edge....
At this moment listening to classical music (favorite violinist) through my HBH-20 connected to IBM notebook through a MSI USB BT Dongle.
1: MSI USB dongle with firmware update
2: version 16 Tecom BT SW
3: version 18 (??) Headset registry update by TDK as explained in this thread
Followed the precise instructions on TDK website (except for updating to 18 SW which is probably the same as 16)
Sound has a slight and regular breakup, but this was predicted (as a tick though it is more a wobble) by TDK especially with USB.
Pairing the headset is not enough. You have to add it as a connection with the headset service. Then you hear your headset ring and you can pick up the call to listen to music.
BTW I also notices a HEADSET.REG in the bin of the MSI 14 software (not in tecom which also has the BTaudio.sys file)
Thanks for all your help. This forum is great. Bought my MSI dongle today and only a few hours later everything works, including sendfile and Headset!!!!! Have to say have not tried dial up and some other features.
Baught Dongle at MyCom in Amsterdam for €39 Cool isn't it?
Good luck everyone, just wanted to confirm this works!!:)
Happy new year!
