When the W610 is finally available here in the US, I may get one to replace my trusty W810. About the only thing I'll lose are the auto-focus camera and full-size MSDP memory, correct?

Fortunately the W610 does have a 2Megapixel Auto-focus camera.
But unfortunately its doesnt take pics as good as the w800/w810 camera. Maybe its the Firmware.
I will post the comparison pics later.
But the Phone as such is great!

Yeah well the W610 is the true W810 successor. Don't forgot about the new UI with even better multi tasking capabilities.

The new UI is fast n better looking. Especially the look of the new Walkman 2.0 player.

What's so "new" about that UI? Its only made possible because of flash themes -which the w810 also has. Imo, the only things that are new on the W610 are a2dp, v2, improved multi tasking.

In summary - correct me if I'm wrong - here's where the W610 bests the W810:

2.0
TrackID
A2DP
more internal memory
"premium" materials + thinner profile = snazzier styling

However, it seems I instead have several reasons to skip the W610, and hang onto my W810 until the W610's successor materializes...

W810's keypad appears easier and more comfortable to use than the W610's. (W610's keypad matches W880's; it is a consistent negative point across many reviews of the W880.) Hopefully will go back to human-usable keys.
W610's M2 memory is presently more expensive than W810's MSDP, and the capacity hasn't caught up yet. (Of course, this will change in time.)
It would appear that the W610 camera doesn't match that of the W810.
W610's side-mounted Fastport makes all desktop stands and car holders incompatible. (I have a CDS-60 on my desk and a MRC-60 at my stereo, they work well with my W810 and W300.)
No AVRCP on W610 - again I ask, what's the point of A2DP without AVRCP?

Are you, like me, quite disappointed with the w810i's replacement?

To be, its nothing special on top of the w810i, does pretty much the same thing and has silly keys and fast port location.

I will be skipping this version and hoping for something better next time round!
