Tried updating on my laptop yesterday cos my Pc is Vista which isn't compatible yet

anyways after doing this it says 99% then it comes on failed..
when I try again it says the phones upto date with latest Software
(How Bizarre)

The current O2 latest update is R1KG001 (Black o2 and the silver 007 o2 phone.

However currenlty there is a problem with the SEUS.

If you take the phone to a service center like CPW they will update foc, however some places now have seus update stations in the shops. You just stick the phone in follow the instructions and it updates for you.

The current networks are as follows for R1KG001:
Orange, O2 and Virgin.

Vodafone and 3 is RJ1EJ001

T-Mobile is R1JC002

If you want other countries please let me know.

they did mention that I could upgrade with them before Xmas,
but I went to the 02 shop next door lol

No Probs with CPW.

If you just tell them that the software on the phone crashes when using it, they update foc

Latest is R1JG001...

Finally worked out how to update properly!
I was CID49 but you need to be CID 51... Use WOTAN and buy 1 credit to update your phone to CID 51 then use SEUS to update to R1JG001!!!

Yippie, problem solved...

Certain stores are SE Service Centers.

You can check what stores they are by looking at the back of a CPW book o going on line
