If you go here
http://ma3.extranet.sonyericsson.com
then you know this new SEUS version is troublesome, to EMMA users in particular.

I see the instructions still don't make sense:

1. Connect the USB cable
2. Turn off the phone
3. Remove and replace the phone battery
4. Press and hold the 2 button on the phone while plugging in the USB cable to the PC
5. Continue to hold the 2 button.

Maybe they should try the instructions as they have written them

I do like the new interface though. A lot less childish.

the 2 is for 'c' perhaps as some phones, ie, w880, c is the power button, so use the letter c instead, 2.

in nokias update service you dont remove sim, so maybe you dont have to now in seus.... instructions seem ok to me.....

this is new!!!! 4. "Remove and replace the phone battery"
what's the meaning if this, you took out the battery and then put it back in the phone?

and the sim card, now it's not necessary to take it from the phone?

on the w880, it now tells you to press and hold the '2' key rather than the 'c' key, since the 'c' key turns the phone on
