well... GPRS is a packet switched technology though it works over GSM
when u turn on CS only option in ue phone what happens then is that ur phone will work only for CS voice and CS data..... but since GPRS is PS data , you wont b able to use it...

you don't need GRPS always on if you don't need it. It uses more power and will anyway be activated when you use wap and MMS..

hey aatuif.... gsm and gprs can work simultaneoulsy also... its a network dependent feature... some service providers enable it and most dont....
when it is enabled you call be on a call and at the same time browse internet ...
