I don't see any point in removing the back button... why?
Mmmm... well, maybe they decided to pay attention to what some moron in gsmarena said in his preview of the K810: "The user interface in K810 is a standard non-smartphone Sony Ericsson user interface. Honestly we've slowly becoming fed up with the user interface - it's been around for 2 years now that they haven't changed it a bit."
And I'd like to ask him: Why is that? Do othe manufactures change it everytime they release a new phone???? ... Of course not!!
So I hope

doesn't do anything radical based on that kind of comments. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" and the way it is now, it's just great.

this key has simplified my usage since my days back with my t630. Now i thought that the C key could be used as the back key as in the motos.

Hmm... But a potential problem with having a C key as the Back button as well as the Cancel key is that you might not know if pressing it is gonna go back or delete something. At least that's what I encountered when I was using Moto.

Perhaps if we all email SE with the message
BRING BACK THE BACK
then they will notice us, then if they ask we we mean we tell them, then we overload them with emails saying BRING BACK THE BACK.
LOL

OMG, i hope it's a late 1st april joke! The only thing that kept me with SE is the COOL interface, and very good buttons, what i hate in other manufactuers is that gay red and green call button, which are TOTALLY USELESS, oh man BRING BACK BACK BUTTON AND "C" BUTTON OMG. AND 3 BUTTONS AT THE TOP WILL BE REALLY CRAPPY, WTF.

For those of us coming from the Ericsson side of the family I'm sure this is no problem at all. The red phone will act as a back key, you won't even realise the 'old' back key is 'gone'. So my advice to the worried members is don't despair it's just a matter of adjusting to the back key being the red phone.

Shaliron has mentioned in the rumoured phones topic that:
The new UI will bring in the use of calling keys and a C button instead of just a back and C button.

.....yes, that'll please the 'gotta have hard-bound non-adaptive green/red keys on MY phone' fraternity......
....but what about the rest of us, who prefer the 'smarter'(here comes the flaming), exisiting

solution(one of the reasons we all buy

in the first place)??
