its special messages is the reason for me too that i need to store lol, and it helps if they have folders on the phones to put them in, such as with nokia's thats how it can be done lol.

what about buying a cheap m600i to have unlimited storage for sms?And a freeware program to arrange them in folders by names, time,etc?

I've had my W880i just 2 weeks which has 307 messages currently in the inbox. It also has 410 in the outbox. (give or take one or two - had to count one by one).

As yet, I've had no "Inbox more than 95% full" message which i always used to experience with my W800i.

Looks like SE now does have the feature to store more .

i'm not used to delete my sms's. That's why i keep all my msg till i get the warning message

My phone stores a measly 100 sms. So when the message pops up... I've to delete the 'not so good' ones...

The newer SE phones have a message limit of 1000 messages unless I'm mistaken.

And you can check how many messages by:

Filemanager -> More -> Memory status.

Scroll down... the number of SMS messages currently stored is shown.

(Works on my Z550i. Should work on your phone.)

yes new phones have memory capacity of 1000 sms.

The K550 has it so will be the phones released after k550.

Dont think w830/850 has it
