hi i have both these phones and it depends wat ur after really as both are great phones.if u want an all in one device then N95 definately...but if cost is an issue then
@massuer when i first saw wat u wrote on the music players i was about to scold u for suggesting such..lol...but then i actually compared them and the difference is not much..but the N95's highest speaker volume is like twice the w950i..

@falcon - I think EVEN the successor of the W950 is NO match with e features of the N95

So, common-sense now DICTATES that it's the N95 here !

Yeah, if you have the money AND most importantly, if you use GPS and WIFI and you want HSDPA 3G, then get the N95. Well worth the price difference IMO. BUT if you won't make use of the extras, then don't waste your money.
Or you could just get it for bragging rights!

It depends on your needs really.
Obviously, the N95 trumps the W950 because it's got loads of features that the W950 lacks. The latter has a 5 megapixel camera to start with.
As for me, since I won't be needing all of the N95's technical mumbo jumbo, therfore I'd opt for the W950---but only after its price drops considerably. In the meantime, I'd have to content myself with my W850.

I have both and I admit I mostly use them for music, PIM and surfing (aside from phone functions).
My greatest complaint about the N is its build quality. Shockingly not up to par for the price of the phone and the fact it's a flagship device. Most of the keys are especially creaky. And it has a general cheap plastic feel to it (it's really no different feel-wise between the dummy display model and the real thing). Compared to the 93i which I had for a while, the latter has the heft and build quality that feels like it's worth every cent you'd dished out for it! If it weren't for the "my gawd!" functionality and S60 s/w available, I'd have returned it by now.
Then there's the SE. Super sexy! Excellent build quality. And mp3 playback is substantially better than N (IMHO). Biggest beefs - not enough 3rd party s/w of my liking and no f/w upgrade still for my generic Singapore model.
And personally, it's funny how much I enjoy navigating with a touchscreen; don't have to endure the creak-creak-creak key presses on the N!

Really depends on how you're going to use the phone. For the more business minded person who likes to navigate using a touchscreen, then the W950i is the phone for you. If you are the type of person who wants to have more multi-media functions, then get the N95. Its an all-in-one phone. The only thing I am not happy with is the build quality of the phone. The casing has a cheap plastic feel to it.

Right. For the price that you pay for the N95, maybe they should have made it a touchscreen phone. Even if it wasn't a touchscreen phone, maybe they could have used a better build material for the N95's casing. I don't know....maybe I'm just too picky....hehehe

I dont think it is quite right to say the n95 build quality is bad. There are some who got wobbly slider but many did not have such issue (like mine). I have certainly have no complaint about the quality of plastic used. It is definitely high quality and dont look plastic to me. And it is solidly built (no creaky casing)
