unfortunately nothing (except sim cards) are free... the cost of providing the service will always be included in what you pay somehow

looks like O2 will be losing a few customers if they carry on the same way!

true they will be losing customers. They might bring out something better, but initial information is that its going to be around 37mb. orange is due to release something similar to T Mobile in the summer, so maybe then O2 will release something better, but we'l have to wait n see, if i find out more info, i'l let you all know here.

It's a shame really, I have a business contract with o2 and i use the P990i but unless i can piggy back on somebodys wifi i try to not browse the t'internet even though their rates are pretty reasonable in comparison to vodafones whom i also have a contract with (18 month, why i said yes i don't know!!) and i use the W950i from which i have now removed all internet settings including MMS because Vodafone are a bunch of thieves and my bills are extortionate!
at least o2 (for now) include video calling and mms as part of your monthly allowance unlike voda!
So now i use also my K800i with a new t-mobile sim which i am hoping to activate web n'walk on as masseur did and then i can use this account for opera mini, photo blogging and all my email accounts, and if all goes well as soon as i can get out of my vodafone contract i'll be off to t-mobile me thinks!

for the first time since I changed my tariff to 02's online 25 tariff my phonebill was £26.00 so ive used £1
hope 02 bring out something like 500 off Peak/anytime mins,
500 text messages and 10MB Free GPRS for £20 or £25 per month that would be a ideal tariff me for me

Im on 500 and 500 for £30 pm but you only get 1mb of data. Its just ridiculas!
I think that all providers should give free internet if you pay £30 or more a month.

Im on a £25 a month tariff and I think not only who people pay £30 or less should be given abit more free Megabytes.
Years ago 02 also known as BT Genie had Unlimited
wap I think T-Mobile have found a way to kick back offering free GPRS but you know the best things always comes to those whom wait.. lets see what 02 have to do in the next coming months... it's good there offering existing customers the same deals as new ones, I was abit surprised I got my K800i for £30 whereas 1 month prior they were gunna charged me £129.99 for the thing

O2 will be making changes to long weekend. You will have a choice of long weekend texting or long weekend calling on plans at £35 or above. Long weekend texting will give 2000 texts sat sun mon, on top of your standard tariff mins and texts but u wont get 2000 long weekend mins.
If you go for long weekend mins tariff, then instead of 2000 texts it will be 2000 long weekend mins, plus standard texts and mins, this should be launching this coming week. still to confirm data tariff, as i quoted on prev post it will be along the lines of that price n data but will confirm soon.
