I think you are aware that according to
, there will be a big push in the US market this year, I reckon its not too hard to imagine some devices satisfying your list of demands, especially 3G/EDGE capable phones.
The only thing I'm not sure will make an appearance built-in is GPS. I wouldn't say the demand is great enough just yet.

Not necessarily. US frequencies, for both voice and 3G, are different from the rest of the world's. You would need a device that included all frequencies and 3G protocols built-in.
I will say that unlocked Quad-Band phones with GPRS and EDGE (e.g. W810, W300) work anywhere. With 3G, it gets complicated. Cingular uses 850/1900 MHz HSDPA. T-Mobile bought up the 1750 MHz spectrum, and I believe 2150 MHz also; I'm unsure which protocol they will implement. Europe and Asia use 2100 MHz. Asia relies on W-CDMA - what does Europe use?
