that's right. I don't want that damn calendar

I really want it because I receive emails and texts and would love to have the screen show me that. So I could glance at the screen.

well, Nokia HAD to have some sort of difference b/w N and E series otherwise they'd be identical.

am glad they have started making each series have 'unique' features...

Doesnt look like Nokia will b adding this to other series though as on the nokia forum someone mentioned maybe installing it on the next firmware release and a nokia tech. came back sayin nokia dont intend to in the near future...

Hi all,

Not just the plug ins but the whole way you you can customise so many things to your active standby shortcut bar and also the two bottom buttons in effect on a E61 gives you 9 apps easily accessible and to that the mail button which again is configurable to which message service you want and the other key that with a short press takes you to your Task Manager and a long presses goes to your folders and even these can be moved around that gives 12 in total. At this point you begin to realise why sometimes you really just don't need a touchscreen to navigate round your device with speed and accuracy IMO.

I now can't wait to get an E90 and am really pleased this device has been designated a S60 3rd Edition FP1 E series as it does bring quite a bit extra over a N series device IMHO.

Marc

I'd still like a touch screen to squiggle stuff but anyway, sadly there is no way of adding plug ins to N series at the moment.
