I hope that's not what's happened to phones I've recieved to fix that I find out are water damaged!
Though none of them smell too bad - some have smelt a bit odd...

lol, sometimes there is a smell of some sort when takinf the phone apart, stale tobacco if they're mokers for example. They're my phones - I buy them to fix, I don't do it professionally I'm afraid!
