I have encountered a slight problem many times with my k750,
focus goes wrong when trying to capture some surfaces/materials.
and i think there is some kind of limit for AF for macro objects >5-3cm..

The lense movement has it limitations so the focus distance is affected by this, it's not a problem.

autofocus measures by comparing colours. For example, you can't do autofocus on a white wall, sometimes even on the clouds. What I suggest in those cases, is to focus on an equidistant object and hold the shutter button and point to the desired object, the press all the way down.
