@ HOBBS, lol, I was holding my P990, untangling earphones, holding GPS reciever, talking to someone on my W810, and running in the rain to get to my car all at the same time, luckily i sorta tried to break the fall with my foot, but it sliplled off my foot and hit the pavement, its just got a little scuff at the top (over the LED), but still, it hurts, lol!!

BTW, some good P990 stuff:

Now why'd you have to go do all that at the same time? Didn't your P990 get wet?

@strizlow800

er...you know your P990 has wifi! Ahh..your PC is not connected via a wireless router. I have not done this on my P990 but I know you need to activate the BT PAN service. I suggest you pose this question across at my-symbian as I remember it be discussed in the M600 threads.

Have a look here

I know the P990 has wifi,but my computer doesn't and I don't use that kind of internet to connect through. So the bluetooth pan is the only option left .

Actually it's simple with your phone software that comes in the box...install it and use the connection manager.i've used it back in the early days with my moto e1000 and since i didn't have the software for the phone i called up my network technical department and we managed to add a connection which i could use as a modem but beware use your charger as it drains battery life!!!doesn't p990 come with a usb cable instead???!

Just use the USB cable that came with the phone and attach it to your pc and phone.Also comes with a cradle so it chargers while you connected to your pc.
