IN UK this phone is £27.99 SIM free, making it, possibly one of, if not the, cheapest phone available!!!
I had a play with one, and to be honest, for that money it was bloody marvelous.

what's s****d? i do text quite a lot, but i have 2 sim cards for the same number so maybe i can make that line a voice call only? and great to hear about the battery life, exactly what i need.
the phone is made of metal i assume? does it heat up when on long phone calls? i used to own an l7, and it heats up very badly when i'm on the phone for too long.

i think you'd be better off with a nokia 1100 or 1110. they're better at SMS'ing

but the screen seems to have a problem.. apparently mine got hit by the car keys in my pocket and now there seem to be little black coloured dots on its etch-a-sketch display that don't go away... the screen should be protected by something a little harder than a thin sheet of plastic... that and if ur not into writing smses then its a pretty solid phone..

@qvga u are right. the keypad itself is way too soft for my taste, but the big keys do fullfill the real mission of this fone. so an old lady with wrong eyes can use it preatty good, cos the keys are big and next to it the voice is useful, for making a call or type in a nr

low-end Nokia's look cheap, and feel cheap. this on the other hand, looks completely unique. I'd get this phone anyway just for 'shock' values, never know how much I might like it. and maybe to cook and egg or 2 too

. thanks a lot for your opinion, people. cheers!
