> Had it with eBay (Selling)

Three things I hate about eBay: the triple-whammy of fees, the double standard regarding shipping costs, and the lack of real protection.
If you sell something, you're charged (1) an insertion fee (2) a final value fee (3) a PayPal fee (recall that eBay owns PayPal). Money-grubbing bastards, they are at eBay.
I twice bought a mobile phone there. Lots of otherwise reputable dealers shave off some of that final value fee by hiding some of the item's real price in the shipping cost. Back when non-eBay retailers were selling W810's for $325, eBay stores miraculously had the same phones for $250... plus $75 for "shipping and handling"

Unless you use 18K gold foil for packaging foil,
there's no way in Hell it costs that much to ship something that small and light.
(Meanwhile, I tried to sell a leather laptop case. It was rather large and heavy, since the leather was 1/4" thick in places, so I dared ask $15 for S&H. Without warning, eBay then cancelled my listing for "excessive shipping charges." What a joke.)
And, my second purchase was with the same seller as the first, which by the seller's terms, should have resulted in a 10% discount @ check-out. This mysteriously never happened. I contacted the seller, who promised to refund me the disputed amount and never did. I then contacted eBay, who referred the matter to SquareTrade. They sent such a tough e-mail message to the seller, they had no choice but to ignore it.
There's a special place in Hell - reserved for child molesters, terrorists, and Bill Gates - and eBay's headed straight for it.
