NOKIA allready try this long time ago (combining phone and camera)
but it was only a concept phone.
3MP is quite enough for me. and it would be better to have
more than 10x optical zoom.

i'm pretty sure if SE released a 10MP camera phone, suddenly that would become a benchmark for half of us here for other manufacturers.

Yes this phone is out and i know its selling in korea since one of them or most of them using cdma. So? Look at the size and i remember 1 of them didn't have proper keypad layout for numeric key (using wap i can't see pic posted here ) a phone module being added onto a mid range camera. No big deal because people like nokia or se is trying to introduce camera into a phone. Samsung w good integration of phone & camera division just manage to do the reverse. Remember sony e is seperate entity from sony.

SE have the ability to build it but unfortunately they can't step over SONY.
yes, SE and SONY is seperate entity. As"sub company" to SONY, there
must be an agreement "not to disturb" SONY market (Main company).
it's all about market and money. so, the technology will grow very slow.
btw, my grandpa using camera-phones too. hehehe

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sony Ericsson is a joint venture established in 2001 by the Japanese consumer electronics company Sony Corporation and the Swedish telecommunications company Ericsson to make mobile phones
Ericsson, which had been on the forefront of cellular phone innovation for decades,[citation needed] decided to divest its mobile phone business in 2001 following huge losses. Ericsson had decided to source chips for its phones from a single source, a Philips facility in New Mexico. In March 2000 a fire at the Philips factory contaminated the sterile facility. Philips assured Ericsson and Nokia (the other major customer of the facility) that production would be delayed by less than a week. Nokia began buying available chips from alternate sources and when it became clear that production at the Philips factory would be compromised for months, Ericsson was faced with a serious shortage. This compromised Ericsson's ability to compete by preventing the launch of new handsets and production of current models.
so SONY have 'buy' Ericsson to make their "sub company" =sonyericsson
i know no one can accept this because Ericsson was very huge name in
market and telecomunication history.

SE is a separate legal entity, it's a joint venture, not a department nor "sub-company" of Sony, not like Sony Pictures.
it's a 3rd company, not part of Sony "Group" (conglomerate) and not part of Ericsson. decisions between them do not apply across, nor are they legally binding across. if SE goes bankrupt, neither Sony nor Ericsson will be affected.
i suggest you brush up your economics on "joint venture" "take over" and various forms of "merge", you don't seem to understand what those words mean on wiki.
Sony never took over Ericsson, never bought it out, all three companies are running independently today
another example would be LG/Philips CRT, even if they go bankrupt, LG and Philips themselves do not get bankrupt. or BenQSiemens which liquidated earlier this year, both Siemens and BenQ are still there alive and kicking.
