Yes the W950 key pad is a dog, but to be honest I hardly ever use it, why would you when you have a touch screen with hand writting recognition?

Yes it does mate!

I agree with what you are saying and tend to write messages using recognition myself but the keypad is still difficult to use for dialling numbers!
And i know you can use the touch screen to do that also!

hmm... i'd suggest M600i anytime. I dont like "purple silver orange" colors of W950 and the membrane-like keypad could wear out easily if you text a lot... M600 keys are a bit scary and cumbersome at start, but when u get used to it, u can even type text singlehanded. Downside of the M600 is the lack of radio i guess. M600 doesnt have the walkman player but it does have megabass u know... The volume keys on the w950, u can easily live without, the jog dial does the same on the M600i given the appropriate application ur running.
