Hi all,
Well the device i am currently using the Nokia E61 has the best keypad i have so far used on any device. It is really tactile and easy to use and has a nice quality feel to it.

Yes the W900 is very good, also the W810 was very good.
@GUCCI perhaps update your firmware? I am using R5BC (I believe the very last one) and it works fine everytime (although my phone is only a few months old with little over a few weeks use).

The keypad of my E61 works excellently - no issues at all. Its also probably the best keypad I've used on any phone.

My T68i had quite good keypad though its joystick was not that rresponsive. After using about two years its No button failed - no response how hard it was pressed.
I like the Z600i keyboard most as they are responsive and quite apart from each other though the joystick (or joypad?) sometimes sticks.
My Z800i key pad is not that responsive - sometimes needs to press quite hard and sometimes two-three times. Besides its joystick sometimes sticks. There is no issue with backlight in this phone.
K610i has excellent keypad and joypad. But my phone has very poor back light making the keys indistinguishable even in complete dark place. Service center changed the keypad but still not good enough even in comparison to other K610.
P990 keypad on the flip seems O.K. though I am confused sometimes as the letters are not written on the keys. Keypad back light is good only for completely dark place though.

second that!!!!! Brilliant (a second function key would've been nice, but you can't have it all!), and some truely "smart" shortcuts!
Worst: treo750v...fiddly, and though sizewise you'd think, "that should be ok for 1-handed use, it's NOT! i do not have big fingers, but heck, even barbie couldn't hit the right buttons (or remember that weird layout...). but at least it has a keypad...unlike a certain i-thingy, which must be really useful when the screen needs calibration, or in humid/moist weather, or in minus temperatures...

Under a magnifying glass the d-pad of my z550i is severly scratched so are the number keys, softkeys are perfect tho
