Yep! its THE FIRST UIQ 3.1 without touchscreen! and it use 330mhz arm11 processor, unlike current

lineup (including upcoming P1) which only use 208mhz arm 9 processor

i may agree with the fast processor advantage over RIZR Z8, one benefit of it was the higher framerate rendering when playing video

, though this kind of speedy performance must be assisted with a capacitive RAM (128Mb should be) because the higher the framerate the CPU renders requires higher utilization of RAM memory (which was the advantage of P1

It is not down to the increased processor speed but the fact it is a newer processor that incorporates the full version of the Power VR MBX Graphics chip. All the uiq3 devices using the older processor only have the Lite version of this chip and this is what effects their ability for VGA 30fps Video as the UQ3 devices can do 30fps but only in qcif. So it is not actually the processor speed but the lack of the full version of the graphics chip which comes with the newer chip and IMO a very good reason why SE should use newer processors in their devices after all Moto with there first UIQ3 device have done it.

Uhhh.... No wonder, why current SE UIQ phone cannot even record video at least 24fps cif.
As i suspected it because lousy 208mhz nexperia processor! Sheesh! What a lamer

that's why SE W900 was the only

device that records @ 30 FPS, with the help of the Video Chip made by the largest Video Chip company

Just wondering what type/brand of Video Processor powers the Sony Handycams
