No one, well not no one, but i know i dont, care what others think about new phones or current offerings.

Then I suggest you stop hanging around here, to be honest. Forums in general is alot about expressing your opinion. The problem is when someone says "That brand is crap!!11" without motivation, but then again it's the moderators job to lock those threads.

I see no wrong whatsoever if someone says "I wish X could come up with a phone like that." If anything, it's a kind of a compliment, the person probably don't want to switch to another phone brand and hope that they would release something similiar.

To sum it up, Esato has always been about cheering and moaning, and that's how it should be. If there is an increase in "troll" posts, then maybe the solution is to get more moderators. Not tell people to stop expressing their opinions.

This whole site is about phones, just like the other post said "epressing opinions". This is the place were people go to discuss celluler gadgets and naturaly criticism is a part of that, as with any subject. Its happening as you read this. This thread has its positive site and its criticsm and theres nothing any one can do about it. Criticsm in its self can be a harsh and beautiful thing.

@lasseman
im talking mainly about the fan wars here.... eventually they are locked. but, are you saying you like reading these 'wars'? i care about what people think, but only to a point. some take it too far, im refering to them...

people have a right to say what they like, im not stopping them. just asking for the comments which trigger these sort of threads. and for people not to react the way they do.... just ignore some one when they these sort of comments. the more you reply the more they will argue...

(this applys to 500 aswell) It may get "boring" as you say but this is why people bump the thread. I have entered a forum countless times and I have looked at then end and people are talking about nothing to do with the threads title.

thats part of the problem. half the threads dont stay on original topic. Like the rumour thread for example. way off topic in many posts.....

500 you have just bumped the thread with out even realising it. What does of topics have to do with SE abuse? There is no problem with changing the subject for example. If you spent an hour talking about football it may get boring depending on what sort of fan you are, so you may change the subject to boxing to here a diffrent view

From what you have said 500 you have made it seem that arguing over somthing is the wrong thing to do. If you bought a CD from a shop and you found out it was cracked, wouldnt you brought it back and the guy says "sorry no refund" wouldnt you argue your rights as a customour?
