ok...i installed the sis file...but can't seem to install the fring_uiq app ... no response...3rd attempt gave me a reboot for memory(no other app was running at that time)

It's ok that sometimes the download only reaches 99%, just check your download path, it's there in its entirety just like mine, no worries

thanks for a quick reply. my next question is, im totally NEW to this Voip. I never used it before on PC. I only got sunrocket for home as far as digital phone. = IM A NEWB lol
I installed this and it logs on using wifi and i see my contact list now under the app. Now how do i make a free call to say, to a landline? or is it just stuck to wireless cell?

you can't make free calls to a landline - only to another fring user. (or similar)
If you want to call a landline, you need to go via skype, and pay skype for their part of the service. Fring will let you access a skype account once you have set one up, and then you can call anyone on skype for free as well.
