They only make the phones in China because labour is cheaper. Have a look at the label of the shirt your wearing now. It's never a rich country. Looking at the (adidas) shirt I'm wearing now, it says made in Vietnam even though it's a German brand but it doesn't feel low quality at all. Just because it's built in China, doesn't mean it's low quality product, it's just the manufacturing costs are less.

This is true, I remember when I had NOKIA 3100, mine was made in Hungary and my friend had one which was made in Germany. You could really see the difference, even in the display quality. I think that's bad, all phones should look the same no matter what country are they from.
