I tried from coolmobiles again with just a picture and no sound, but got the same error. Am I missing something fundamental? This is really annoying me! I've had the update, I'm using Orange MMS as the WAP Profile, so what gives? Any other settings I should know about?
My SW is R5D007.
Help me please!

I wouldn't worry about cool mobiles, it's stopped working for me now! I think it's just a bit lame

You'd think with all the main UK operators now doing free MMS till Feb they would pull their finger out and get cross network MMS working.

I mean all they have to do is pass a list of MMS enabled numbers to each other...

Yeah, it's really annoying. But what can we do?
by the way, is there any other way I can check if I am receiving mms properly then? I guess I can test my sending by just sending to en email address, right? Any other sites to send from? (for free, of course!)

I got a line1 and line2 so i sent an MMS to line2 from line1.I'm on ORANGE UK,it seems that it's limited to the GPRS byte limit,so if the MMS is too large it will have to be viewed on the website,i've been told that we get to send and receive MMS to VODA in the spring.

Lot of fuss deciding on how to cross charge MMS (which method etc. that the operators can all agree on), will probably have it sorted in Q1 of 2003.
