my daughter says the Z520 with the pink fascia...

... which coincidentally I am now selling for her as she now has a pink Nokia girly phone (7390)!

Ok guys.

As far as I can gather the new girly phones are pretty crap..as are most of the phones designed for girls (or women if you want to be politically correct - I'm of an age that I'm flattered at being called a girl).

So seeing as SE don't take a blind bit of notice what we want, which phone already anounced or on sale does every one think is the best girly phone. By that I don't mean the prettiest I mean the best quality phone that is designed for use by girls

Hi Alye,

What are the things that women would want in a phone, from a Female perspective.

I cannot see why the genders would want anything different from each other, I promise you this is genuine question NOT a wind up

Exactly ! I don't really see either what Alye means by "designed for use by girls". I mean, our functional needs should be roughly the same, no ?

Aesthetically, not being a girl, it's hard to tell, I'd say the Z series is indeed more girly than any other. The W660 and W610 are kinda girly too, i'd say.

I hoped that by saying that I didn't just mean the prettiest you would know what I meant but I obviously haven't made myself clear sorry.

Yes of course we want the same things just maybe differently designed. I wear a suit to work. I has all the same atributes as a man's suit but it is designed to suit a woman. In the same way I love some of the new phones. I want good specs but they are just too butch and bulky for me.

It's not just about being visually attractive (although I do wan't something that looks nice too). Women generally don't have pockets everywhere like men often do and when I go out in the evening I don't want to take a shopping bag just because my phone doesn't fit in my hand bag. So my question is (and this is not a silly fun queston because I am looking to uprade my phone) Of the phones designed for a woman's lifesyle/use which has the best specs. i.e. which girly phone is actually the best?

Alye

hmm,, i should agree with others that Z se looks girly than others.
unless, if you change fascia and theme to "pink" version.
imo, pink is one of the strongest girly effect of any phone...
like this, W550 become girly : Pink W550i

i think saying PINK Z series would be stereotyping girls a little bit. In theory pink is for females and blue for males, reality is different
I think a red K610
