So there's no period of time in which you can return it if not satisifed, say, 7 days?

yeah, we wish!
... That's baaaaaad! Even here it's 2 weeks - I'm constantly "buying" new phones, and return them after 13 days (14 days return for cash; no questions asked )...

Consumers don't have such rights in Asian countries

Yes, but apart from vodafone no one here in ireland has any proper phones anyway - sad but true...

Too be honest i think SE`s new announcement has nothing to compete against N95. Sure i will miss TS and querty on N95 but i will still get one!

I am aware of possible battery and slider problems, but still i want to try N95. I had a chance to try it for a few minutes and i liked it a lot. If i stop liking it or slider becomes to loose or anything i will swap it for a P1 when it becomes available.

I love SE but i am jumping to the darkside till P1 shows up

@sam - Even there are NEW announcements of fone models from . . . I guess the Nokia N95 will still be a competetive one at present . . . can go head-on with the K850 !

Hi all,
After tornado like mighty announcement from SE, i feel slight depressed, i just bought a N95 before a week i was very impressed by the given specs but now i feel so dumb, the camera is not great like my k800, the battery problem and the plastic feel and the loose slider.
Guys need yr help what should i do?

why are you letting minor niggles like slide wobble (which can be diy rectified easily) distract you from the true N95. It is probably the most advanced phone in the world packing so many features (like wifi/gps/tv-out/vga 30fps video rec etc) in size smaller than K800. Just the vga 30fps video rec already is worth it.

btw: N95 camera is much better than K800. This review proved it with detail side-by-side comparison.

@mib1800
That review was laughable. I've seen it. Just take a peek at the comments section.

The only reason why the N95 won was because it was 5MP. Despite the heavy noise reduction negating the effect of any extra megapixels.
Read:

1) N95: The impact of the noise reduction system is felt, since almost everything is blurred, but the correct exposition and the realistic colors make the pictures look better than those of the competition.
2) К800: The situation with К800 is the same as N95. The reduced resolution is a shortcoming, depriving the phone of the gold medal.

The whole 'advantage' of resolution is to increase image detail, despite the fact that the K800 had more detail than the N95.

Or here:

1) N95: N95 is capable of reproducing neutral colors situations best, but, unfortunately, they are all deliberately oversaturated. The brightly-lit objects burn easily, unlike D900. The 5 megapixels provide quite a lot of detail, but some pictures are blurred due to the noise reduction system.
2) K800: Wildly fighting for the first place, but the limitation of the 2 megapixels impacts the pictures negatively. It performs best as far as colors and exposition are concerned.

So I guess it's impossible for the K800 to win because it's a lower resolution? At least in this image, the K800 is saturated properly and you can still see some letting on the small metal sign in the background.
