In the iSkoot home page site seems to be a Beta versione only .... and P990/M600 are not listed at all !

What the....? how'd you get it to work on UIQ3 then, the site doesn't say it's compatible you know. It's great that it does though, but I don't wanna take the risk. I'll keep observing, let me know how it goes

I have it installed, but I've not managed to chat with anyone, call anyone or have a SkypeIn call route to my mobile. Anyone else having any luck?

Actually, just managed to chat with someone: you need to tap underneath the last contact, and it will move a blue bar down the screen (thanks to this thread: http://gsmhosting.com/vbb/archive/index.php/t-327650-p-6.html)

I'm tempted to take a walk across the road to try it out using wifi. Only been on a normal GPRS/3G connection so far, and it keeps jumping between the two.

Hi, I managed to call a skype contact - pretty cool

I also managed to start a chat - but I have now clue how to send a message. I just enter the text and what do I have to do then? The "OK" key did nothing and I only see the button "Cancel". What am I doing wrong here?

@dominique

You need to go to the main menu and click 'send'. Way clunky, but it is an early version, based on the release number.
