oh now YOU believe you can "believe" what god really meant - like you can correct HIM?
Kingbook5, that is playing god! That is blasphemy! Worst: it's cherry-picking - you're diy-religion? They're usually called "sects"! And just for clarity: agnostic atheist IS NOT an alliteration!

There are extremeas of all faiths and this is an extreame atheist.

I have no problem with athiests. I respect all athiests, agnostic and faiths. One of my best mates is an athiests.

Maggflood and axxr, from what you have said in the 9/11 thread it seems you hate terrorists/islamic extremists. This aint so diffrent. To be honest I hate all extreamists, especialy this one. This guy may as well bomb himself for his beliefs such as terrorists

maggflod. Im not correcting god. There are interpritations in all religions but I believe in the universilism of christianity

It also says in the bible to love all of gods creatures. I dont think god would have stopped with us. I think ET are just more of his creatures. BUT, this is my belief, just like yours of being atheist and just like others choosing to be Buddhist of muslim

Apart from cautious quoting I would not use the word "extremist"... i have no Idea what thread about 9/11 you are referring to, cause it cannot be the same one that I am posting in! And the reason you have no problem with other religions is because you obviously can't keep them apart! And what "keeping science and religion apart" could possibly mean in this wish-wash is beyond me!

I dont see any fantical christians or Buddhists doing all of that. The only reason there are islamic extremists is because of this fu*cked up war in Iraq for oil. Religion weather you love it or hate it has kept the world in a ballenced state. With out it we would have died in wars long ago. But with it there is still conflict. Even with religion it has its flaws and bonusses. EG. The k800 having a great cam but shit music player

You don't see any fanatical Christians doing that?..well maybe then you need to look a little harder before discussing such things, G.Bush is fighting all his Wars on the basis that he is doing it for God..he's said that in his own words..he's killed 100's of 1000's of innocent people as head of the Church!...no one said anything about Bhuddists,they are probably the most peacefull religion out there...your right about the Islamic extremists, they only exist because of the problems we have created.

So who do you believe ? Any ways, I know by scripture that many who proclaim Jesus as Lord will still go to hell. (Mathew 7:22-23)

So if any christians (me included) decide to post about christianity, please take account that to God it matters not if the debate is won, but if you keep loyal to him in the way and manner you speak with others.

And I'd like to give my humble opinion about the reason this thread was started. I think the man who owns the car is quite tired of the Jesus that is being taught in our society. I can see this clearly because he clasifies him as pacifist, and calls him an "imaginary friend".

This is also a matter that occurs inside the church. Many people don't know the Jesus they worship, his style of life, his culture, his mission, the society he grew up in, etc.
